U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito was keynote speaker at a ceremony in the House of Delegates Monday afternoon. Monday evening, West Virginia female lawmakers were honored at the Culture Center. Higgins sat down with Julie Palas of the West Virginia Women's Commission and Renate Pore of Kanawha Valley NOW, who helped organize the day’s events.
