Ohio Valley Members of Congress Differ on Mueller Protection Bill

On this West Virginia Morning, politically, the Ohio Valley is known as Trump Country. But even in this politically conservative area, most members of the U.S. Senate say the special counsel investigating President Trump should be allowed to complete his work. As Jeff Young reports, opinions differ on a bipartisan bill to protect the special counsel from being fired.

Also on today’s show, for the past 25 years, the YMCA in Charleston has been hosting Healthy Kids Day -- a nationwide annual program aimed at teaching kids and families how eat well and be active through the summer months. This year, a new Y has opened down the road in Montgomery and hosted its own event. Kara Lofton reports.
