On this West Virginia Morning, we’ll hear about a new program at Marshall University that aims to accommodate all students. It’s called the Trans Closet -- where students who identify as transgender can find clothing in a judgement-free zone. This story and more on West Virginia Morning.

Enrollment in the Affordable Care Act health insurance marketplaces fell in most states across the country during the past year, including West Virginia. As Kara Lofton reports, a new Urban Institute analysis tries to explain the change in enrollment rates.

On this weekend’s episode of Inside Appalachia, we hear several perspectives about what it’s like to be LGBT in Appalachia. We’ll hear an excerpt featuring how Marshall University has changed the way students there are treated. This includes a new program, called the Trans Closet, which gives free clothes to all students, to help students choose clothing of any gender in a judgement-free zone. Roxy Todd brings us this story.

On this week’s Mountain Stage Song of the Week, blues singer Shemekia Copeland has been coming to Mountain Stage since 2003. This fiery performance is from her latest return to the show. We bring you part of her song, "The Battle is Over (But the War Goes On)."

To hear Copeland’s full performance and more, tune in to Mountain Stage on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. on West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
